Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Program AnalystDepartment: Veterans AffairsLocation: On-site, Washington, DCType: Full TimeMin. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is an on-site, customer facing position in downtown Washington DC supporting a federal government client. Remote work is not available. 
  • Support the Program Manager, team, and stakeholders by collecting, compiling, and analyzing data to evaluate the business processes and programs.
  • As part of an Agile team, support continuous improvement efforts by identifying new data sources and gathering and analyzing relevant data to evaluate potential or new processes and/or requirements.
  • Support program deliverables development and updates, and as appropriate, generate applicable deliverables.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand and document existing and emerging business requirements.
  • Work with the team to ensure requirements are included in future spring activities.
  • Participate in team calls and meetings.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and oversight of less experienced Program Analysts.
  • Provide accurate and timely status reports on the progress of assigned tasks.
  • Support the development of documentation related to team activities and enhancements, particularly related to customer requirements development.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures and participate in period reviews of existing processes.
  • Collaborate with staff and the Program Manager to prioritize requests for ad hoc report development.
  • Collaborate with team members on metadata management and integration of process assets to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Security Clearance RequirementsMust possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI)
